2021 Tuesday To-Do #8

It's March and I'm ready for green.
I've planned out this year's vegetable garden
and made my seed and plant shopping list.
It's time for fresh herbs and veggies,
bright flowers and St. Patrick's Day.

A quick look at what happened last week:

Snowflakes:  Finish last 6 blocks.
Done.  YAY!

The pic above shows my sashing mid-progress.
I'm a little farther along than that but I didn't want
to stop and stage another photo.

HSTs:  More green projects.
Done.

With the remaining
 green HST's,
I whipped up a runner to complete the setting.

Baby quilts:  no progress.

Fabric Tracking:
Not much activity here other than using some stash
fabrics for the backs and bindings of my HST
projects (I don't count the HSTs themselves) so
I'm just roughly estimating a half-yard usage.
No purchases (yay) so a -.5 it is.  Kind of a poor
showing but it's better than adding.

The week ahead:

Snowflakes
I have border and backing decisions to make
on the snowflakes.   Hopefully the stash will
make this easy or I'll end up back at the LQS.

HST's
Projects from the Squirrel in the Secret Garden
trimmings:  runner and accent pillow

Baby Quilts
Get one whole top done.
A big goal but I have to get a start.

Garden
Purchase seeds and bulbs (shallots/onions).

Happy quilting!

I love your Snowflakes project! And the HST set is adorable, I might just be stealing that idea!! LOL. Thanks for linking up today, good luck with this week's goals.
The snowflakes are great. I'd be happy to just see the old dead grass here. We're finding parts of our yards, but we still have lots of snow left. Hopefully most of it will be gone by the end of the week (40's for the next few days).
Oh la la, your Snowflakes is so beautiful! Well done on the last blocks. Pretty green mini too. Enjoy sewing items from your next week's list, and gardening ;)
Hooray for finishing all those snowflakes! They look great - I love your colors. I'm ready for green and gardening, too. There are bulb shoots peeking up out of the ground at my house.

I think maybe you've gotten a start on this week's list :-) I like your snowflakes, even though the paper piecing is driving you nuts! You should make good progress this week!

Looking forward to your finish on Snowflakes; it is so attractive. Still loving your pretty minis.
I didn't start seed for my garden this year so I'll be buying plants to set in the ground. We are in a different growing zone this year too, so this will be an experimental year!
