It's March and I'm ready for green.
I've planned out this year's vegetable garden
and made my seed and plant shopping list.
It's time for fresh herbs and veggies,
bright flowers and St. Patrick's Day.
A quick look at what happened last week:
Snowflakes: Finish last 6 blocks.
Done. YAY!
The pic above shows my sashing mid-progress.
I'm a little farther along than that but I didn't want
to stop and stage another photo.
HSTs: More green projects.
Done.
I whipped up a runner to complete the setting.
Baby quilts: no progress.
Fabric Tracking:
Not much activity here other than using some stash
fabrics for the backs and bindings of my HST
projects (I don't count the HSTs themselves) so
I'm just roughly estimating a half-yard usage.
No purchases (yay) so a -.5 it is. Kind of a poor
showing but it's better than adding.
The week ahead:
Snowflakes
I have border and backing decisions to make
on the snowflakes. Hopefully the stash will
make this easy or I'll end up back at the LQS.
HST's
Projects from the Squirrel in the Secret Garden
trimmings: runner and accent pillow
Baby Quilts
Get one whole top done.
A big goal but I have to get a start.
Garden
Purchase seeds and bulbs (shallots/onions).
Happy quilting!

Comments
I didn't start seed for my garden this year so I'll be buying plants to set in the ground. We are in a different growing zone this year too, so this will be an experimental year!
