August Goal

To August I give a very warm welcome.
Now fall is really
just around the corner and this
makes my little fall-loving quilter's heart happy.

Today I'm linking up to
to submit my own intent for the month:

To complete this West Point quilt top
because, boy oh boy, do I keep putting it off!

But now having declared it here with you all
as my witnesses, the deed must be done.

It is currently in the "blocks completed" stage.
However, it's not looking very big so once I get
these all sewn together, there is that chance I
may decide to add two more columns.  Still,
if you haven't sensed it already, I'm very anxious
to be done with it so it's more likely I'll just initiate
some major border action and then call it quits.
And with that cliffhanger,  I'll say au revoir,
happy quilting and see you all back here at
the end of the month!

Happy quilting!

Nothing wrong with just adding borders. :) Looking forward to seeing a finish.

Hi Cheree! Get 'er done, my friend! You'll be happy you did. It's way too nice to become a UFO. ~smile~ Roseanne
Some big navy and gold borders would be striking with those blocks.

I thought of you yesterday as we were eating dinner on our deck, the air was cool and almost had that fall feeling to it! Work, work, work and you can make these blocks into a flimsy in no time at all;)

This one lends itself well for border work :) It's going to be a neat quilt!
