December's Monthly Goal

Well, there went November and with it went
its monthly goal of finishing my Glow quilt.
As I've mentioned, my hubs has been working
in the same room as my long arm and my noisy
machine doesn't work with his work.
I prefer to quilt in the mornings for various reasons
so evening and night quilting is kinda out.
It's not the greatest lighting anyway.

I did get about halfway through.  It's a very
pretty pattern of acorns and oak leaves but
it's also dense and taking a lot of time.
I'm not in a rush or anything so, other than
missing my November goal, no worries.

I also missed the link-up for December's monthly
goal--on a roll, aren't I?--but I'm still going to give it
a go with a goal that doesn't involve the longarm.

My December monthly goal is to finish the
top of my Peppermint Pines quilt.

Because I'm confining myself to stash-only,
my version will have to be a little less fun
but hopefully still very home-y.

I'm still going to try to finish my September Glow
quilt so be watching for that.  Hubs has mentioned
running into the office a little this week so maybe,
with a row here and a row there, I'll still get it
quilted up by the end of this week?

Happy [catch-up] quilting!

My first reaction was "kick him out!" LOL Good idea to work on a different project to preserve family unity!
