A Little Weekend Sewing

Just a short post this Sunday evening.
It's not often I get to do much (or any?)
weekend sewing but today I was able to get almost all
of the chain blocks for my 30's quilt completed.

Sooo close.

When dinner guests arrive, do you think they'd mind
waiting just 15 minutes while I finish a few blocks?
Of course, I wouldn't dare...unless they were quilty
friends.  They would have completely understood...
and probably would have joined in!

I'm joining a new link-up today to share this project:
(Merci, Frédérique, for the invite!)

I'll be working on sampler blocks to place between these
chain blocks this week.  I haven't quite decided on all
of the blocks, but the fabrics will be scrappy 30's.

Most of these:

And hopefully all of these:

Let the fun begin!
Happy quilting!

I like your chain blocks. Have fun with your 30's fabrics.
Yes, dinner can wait ;) I love your chain blocks, lovely white fabric. Your 30's fabrics are very cute, can't wait to see what you will do with them!
Thank you for sharing with Patchwork & Quilts link party!
