When the weather outside is frightful, the
sewing room time is even more delightful.
The cold months really get me creating,
this winter more so than ever. While
"multi-project'ing" is not the norm for me
I seem to be going at it like a pro so
I'm really trying to stay on top of them all.
For help with this, I'm making good use of my organizer
where I write daily and monthly to-do lists and also keep
my Maker's Journal, which is available free here.
(Tip: I print in reduced size to fit my organizer)
With so much going on, I thought I'd pick up
a little extra accountability on my latest project by
joining up One Monthly Goal and Tuesday To-Do's.

Monthly Goal
My goal for February?
To make another chandelier baby quilt--like the
one I made last summer for our granddaughter.
There are babies on the way among my friends
who I want to gift these to but I'd also like to get one
listed in my Etsy shop if possible so I really hope to get
several made. I'm even cutting them all out at once but
the focus will be on just getting that first one completed.
Focus is what that I really need and crave, especially
in the midst of an abundance of projects, so this link-up
is going to be a little extra encouragement this month.
Here is my fabric pull so far but I'd like to get
another one or two in there if I can find it
among my stash.
Any thoughts on if these will work for both boy
and girl babies would be appreciated.

Weekly Goals
I'm also linking to the Tuesday To-Do's for some
weekly accountability. This week I want to get
those quilts cut out.
I also will be getting at least one of my 3 completed
quilt tops (see list below) quilted up and finished.
And, of course, I need to make at least #16
and maybe #17 of the Farmer's Wife blocks.
(see above tab)

Other projects going:
Snow Love: needs quilted
Irish Chain Picnic: needs quilted, may add ants
to the top first?
Farmer In the Dell: currently on LA frame
Black/white scarf: current evening project, more info soon
HST Basket quilt: constructing blocks, more info soon
(need more background fabric)
Farmer's Wife Quilt: On block 16, on-going project
Team scarf: completed
Snow Day books (2): completed
I'm excited to get these quilt tops quilted up
and to get that list cut down to half or less.
I've had my coffee and am feeling pretty determined.
There's even snow in the forecast for this afternoon.
My kind of creating day!
