Baby Quilt Time

With the high temps around here,
it's hard to feel like doing much other than
hanging out in the pool and reading.
(That probably sounds great but it includes therapy that leaves me
exhausted and literally crawling out of the pool in pain--something I'm
getting pretty tired of--mentally and physically--after two years... Still,
I can feel I'm getting stronger at least.  And I do enjoy all the reading!)

I've done a little sewing here and there
but I'm going to have to step it up.
I need to complete two baby quilts within the
next few weeks.

Most of what I needed was found in my stash.
(As always, a big bonus!)

I set to work on these pinwheels with
this tutorial at Cluck, Cluck Sew.
(Chickens and sewing...what's not to like??)

And here is where I've left off with the first.
I'm really struggling with my energy level
and that pain
(Have an appointment in a few days so...)
so we'll see how far I get this next week.
