Christmas Stocking Ideas

Thinking about making new stockings this year?
And, like me, you need some inspiration?
Here are just a few to get you started:
(I figured if I had to do the homework, I might as well share!  If I can
figure out how to do a linky, we could all share in a few weeks, right?
Hmmm....)

Well, if you made it to the bottom of this list,
I hope it has helped you to get your crafty "on".
Personally, I'm torn as to what direction to go.
Our stockings go in a formal room but I still
want them to be fun.  Trendy would be fun but...
let's just say that the last set I made
was in '99 so trendy may not be the way to go.
Of course, I could just make new ones more often!
(ahem)

Well, ya know, on the one hand bigger stockings would be nice, but the ones we have my mum got and made up when we lived in Philadelphia when I was 2 (cut from a panel) and they have 'Mummy', 'Daddy' and 'Katy' embroidered on the top. I just couldn't replace those, no matter that we're now 30 years down the line!
The Pottery Barn ones look simple but yet elegant. :)

Love the toile ones even if they are in black and white! Lots of great ideas you found.

The stockings that we use are from at least 15 years ago.. I might like to make some, they seem pretty easy :) Can't wait to see what you come up with!
